CORRESPONDENCE AND DISTANCE EDUCATION SECTOR (SZDN) is a structural division of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Continuing Education of the National Aviation University.
The main task of the SZDN is planning, organization and control of the educational process of students of part-time and part-time courses with the use of distance technologies in the forms of education of the National Aviation University at the appropriate educational and methodological level.

In its activities, SZDN is guided by the Laws of Ukraine “On Education”, “On Higher Education”, orders of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine regarding higher education and other legislative and regulatory acts, the Statute of the University, orders and orders of the rector of the university, orders of the vice-rector by field of activity, orders of the director of the Institute, documentation of the department’s SMY and the National Aviation University.

The main tasks of the Sector are:

• ensuring the implementation of methodical and organizational work for the purpose of proper organization of the educational process of applicants for part-time and part-time courses with the use of distance technologies in the forms of education of the National Aviation University in accordance with the educational and work curricula of their training approved in the prescribed manner;
• organization of the development of the components of methodical support of the educational process of applicants of correspondence and correspondence courses using distance technologies in the forms of education of the National Aviation University;
• preparation of the necessary documentation related to methodical support, organization and planning of the educational process of applicants for part-time and part-time courses using distance technologies in the forms of education of the National Aviation University;
• implementation of management, coordination and control over educational and methodical work of NAU departments in the part of part-time and part-time students with the use of distance technologies as forms of education;
• control over the implementation of the orders of the rector, the orders of the vice-rectors and the director of the Institute, decisions of the Academic Council of the University and the Academic Council of the Institute regarding the organization of the educational process of applicants for part-time and part-time courses with the use of distance technologies in the forms of education of the National Aviation University.
