Advanced training of aviation specialists in Kazakhstan
The Training and Research Institute of Continuing Education has completed advanced training courses under the program “Aerodrome flight support” for two groups of aviation specialists of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The courses took place from November 23 to December 4 in Nur Sultan and Almaty. Students of the courses are representatives of the international airports “Nursultan Nazarbayev”, “Almaty”, “Aktobe” and the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan. Project leader – Deputy Director of NN INO, Ph.D., Associate Professor Mykola Shinkarchuk.
Courses are held on a regular basis every five years, starting in 2005.
According to the listeners, they received interesting and useful information about the international experience of operating airfields, in particular at the airports of Ukraine. Students were particularly interested in the new runway assessment format (GRF), which ICAO has been implementing since November 2021. Students of the courses were informed about the possibilities of obtaining education at NAU and an agreement was reached to continue cooperation between the aviators of Kazakhstan and Ukraine.
