Shevchenko’s days at NNINO

Every year on March 9 and 10, “Shevchenko days” are celebrated in Ukraine. On these days, Ukrainians and the whole civilized world honor the memory of Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko.

The full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war, which began on February 24, 20022, is shaping a new public perception of the image of Taras Shevchenko. His spirit of freedom, his word are still fighting and inspiring Ukrainians, both on the front lines and in the rear. “Fight – win!” became the slogan of Ukrainians.

To honor Shevchenko is to honor the native language and history, the cultural heritage of the people, creators who, like him, were ready to put their lives on the altar of serving the people. That is why students and employees of NNINO and the Faculty of Law chose an excursion to the National Museum of Literature of Ukraine, which took place on March 6, 2024. The event was interesting, lively, in a friendly and warm atmosphere.

On March 8, continuing the commemoration of the Great Prophet of the Ukrainian people, the NNINO is planning to hold a round table “A Prophet Born in Ukraine”, where the students of the institute will read the brilliant, eternally alive and so relevant poetry of Taras Shevchenko.
