Excursion of students of the Department of Public Management and Administration to the Constitutional Court of Ukraine
On April 29, 2024, students of the Department of Public Management and Administration of NNINO of the National Aviation University, accompanied by Acting Head of the department, Doctor of Sciences in Public Administration Alla Kozhina and Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Sciences in Public Administration Inga Perestyuk visited the Constitutional Court of Ukraine and familiarized themselves with its activities.
A separate part of the excursion was devoted to the history of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine and a review of museum exhibits, which contain rare items, gifts, including souvenirs, medals, book editions, donated by the bodies of constitutional jurisdiction of foreign countries, international organizations, as well as Ukrainian state authorities and judicial institutions. various literature and paintings.
Of special interest was the theory and practice of the constitutional process in Ukraine. It was also interesting to get acquainted with the history of the creation of the Constitutional Court in independent Ukraine and the adoption of the main Law of Ukraine – the Constitution. Students took an active part in the discussions and showed a high awareness of the legal situation in Ukraine.
The participants of the class got acquainted with the work of the library and archive of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, personally talked with the employees and learned about the peculiarities of the work of these units, as well as saw unique literature and unique scientific works of outstanding scientists. In particular, the archive room contains documents with a storage period of 100 years for 100,000 items.
In the premises of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, students and teachers visited the architecturally exquisite Meeting Hall of the Grand Chamber of the KSU and the Senate Hall of the KSU, which are fascinating with their decoration and special atmosphere, and had the opportunity to see the actual location of the court hearings and take a commemorative photo.
