A round table discussion was held on “The Human Factor in the Management of Territorial Communities under Martial Law”
On December 17, 2024, a roundtable discussion “The Human Factor in the Management of Territorial Communities under Martial Law” was held, organized by the Educational and Scientific Institute of Continuing Education in partnership with representatives of the Vasylkiv Territorial Community. The event, which was held online, brought together representatives of the local community and scientists of the Institute for a public discussion of the main challenges and problems faced by territorial communities during the war. The central issues were the peculiarities of local self-government under martial law, interaction and communication between local authorities and the public, and harmonization of relations between internally displaced persons and territorial communities.
The event presented the scientific visions of the Institute’s teaching staff and the practical experience of representatives of the Vasylkiv territorial community on the stated issues, identified psychological, managerial and state aspects of harmonizing relations between internally displaced persons and territorial communities, and identified the main steps to strengthen the capacity of communities in these issues, increasing the level of trust between local authorities and community residents in wartime.
