Additional recruitment to the KAI: opportunities for Ukrainian defenders

Entry for military personnel without a military service certificate is a reality at the State University “Kyiv Aviation Institute”. Our university opens its doors to all combatants who seek to obtain a high-quality higher education.

From September 8 to 18 (until 17:00), KAI opens an additional intake of documents for 100+ educational programs for bachelors. The additional intake can be used by combatants through a special admission procedure at the university. And from September 15 to 25, an additional session for master’s programs at Kyiv Aviation University will begin – more information will be available on KAI channels.

Top popular majors:

• Logistics – a partnership program created jointly with the Ukrainian logistics company Freight Transport Partner (FTP)
• Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Engineering – a partnership program for the development of UAVs, developed with a leading manufacturer of unmanned aerial vehicles
• Information and Communication Systems Security – a partnership program developed on the technological base of the Ukrainian IT company CYBER UNIT
• Psychology is a correspondence educational program that introduces the foundations of human nature and behavior
• Law is a correspondence educational program that introduces legal norms and their application

Active military personnel can study in a correspondence form with the permission of the command, which makes it possible to successfully combine service and education. Demobilized personnel have complete freedom of choice between full-time, correspondence or distance learning.

All UBD receive the right to transfer to budget places when enrolling on a contract and can take advantage of the simplified admission procedure without passing the NMT.

A simple algorithm for entering a bachelor’s degree:

• Confirmation of UBD status → fill out the form at https://pk.kai.edu.ua/reyestracziya-pilgovyh-dokumentiv/
• Registration for entrance exams → in the applicant’s personal account at EDEBO
• Passing exams at the university instead of NMT → 4 subjects (Ukrainian, mathematics, history of Ukraine + subject of choice). Exam dates: September 10 or 17.

• Submit an application to KAI → via the applicant’s electronic account in YEDEBO
• Confirm your desire to study in the applicant’s personal account using the KEP → the final step to your future

Enrollment with a voucher from the State Employment Service

The State Employment Service issues training vouchers for participants in hostilities and those discharged from military service. The voucher is issued once and covers up to 30,280 UAH of the cost of education. It can be obtained from the State Employment Service and used to pay for 100+ educational programs at KAI.
