Training of aerodrome service specialists

The Training and Research Institute of Continuing Education has completed a two-week refresher course under the program “Aerodrome flight support” for specialists of aerodrome services of aviation enterprises of Ukraine, Georgia and Belarus. The course participants were representatives of Boryspil International Airport, Zhytomyr International Airport. S.P. Korolyova LLC “Accord”, KP KHOR “Kherson Airlines”, KP “Zaporizhzhya International Airport”, KP “Nikolaev International Airport”, SE “ANTONOV”, Airlines “Ozerne-Zhytomyr”, LLC “New Systems AM”, KP ” Bila Tserkva Cargo Aviation Complex, SE “NARP”, military unit № 2269, RUE “Belaeronavigatsiya”, LLC “Association of Airports of Georgia”.

The program of courses is approved by the State Aviation Service of Ukraine and provides acquaintance of students with the practice of certification of aerodromes according to new regulations, in accordance with the requirements of ICAO and EASA, processing of current issues of technical operation of aerodromes.

In addition to the teaching staff of the university, representatives of the State Aviation Service of Ukraine and the National Bureau for Investigation of Aviation Incidents and Incidents with Civil Aircraft were involved in the classes. Students of the courses together with teachers held a field trip at Boryspil airport, where they got acquainted with the material and technical base of the airfield service, its structure and organization of work. The students got acquainted with the exposition of the NAU Museum with interest.

According to the results of testing, certificates of advanced training were awarded.
