Students of the Department of Public Management and Administration of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Continuing Education undergo practice in public administration bodies

According to the schedule of the educational process, in June 2023, the students of higher education had professional familiarization, professional, industrial practice (OS “Bachelor”) and research practice in the field of management in public administration bodies (OS “Master”) at databases of practices of executive authorities and local self-government bodies.

During practice, students studied the basic principles of organization and activity of authorities at different levels of management, features of public service and service in local self-government bodies, the process of organizing the activities of civil servants and local self-government officials. In addition, students of higher education with a master’s degree had the opportunity to collect factual material for conducting their own research and preparing a qualification paper.

In particular, within the framework of the internship agreement, the students got acquainted with the work of individual structural divisions of the Pechersk District State Administration of Kyiv, namely the Office (center) for the provision of administrative services, its structure, content and functions, key management processes, features of the work of administrators, and other issues of ensuring work center Acquaintance with concrete examples of the provision of administrative services was also a useful experience for the applicants.
