Postgraduate education
Postgraduate education is a specialized improvement of education and professional training of a person by deepening, expanding and updating his knowledge, skills and abilities on the basis of previously acquired higher education (specialty) or vocational education (profession) and practical experience. .
Postgraduate education includes:
- specialization – specialized training in order to acquire the ability to perform certain tasks and responsibilities that have features within the specialty;
- retraining – vocational training aimed at mastering another profession by employees who have received initial vocational training;
- advanced training – increasing a person’s level of readiness to perform his / her professional tasks and responsibilities or acquiring a person’s ability to perform additional tasks and responsibilities by acquiring new knowledge and skills within a professional activity or field of knowledge ;
- Internship – a person gaining experience in performing tasks and responsibilities in a particular professional activity or field of knowledge.
Training of aviation personnel of civil aviation of Ukraine and foreign states is carried out in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine and international acts of civil aviation.
The duration of training depends on the distribution of time according to the training plan.
High efficiency of training is provided by wide introduction of information technologies, complex computerization of educational process.
All training programs for retraining and advanced training of specialists are agreed with the relevant government agencies and customers.
The teaching staff of NAU and other educational institutions, leading scientists, heads of organizations, services, domestic and foreign specialists are involved in the educational process.
Successful completion of training is one of the conditions for the student to receive a Certificate.
Training is conducted at the National Aviation University or on the basis of the Customer. The educational process uses the base of the university, Boryspil State International Airport, advanced airlines, domestic and foreign companies and organizations.
The geography of NAU’s educational activity extends beyond the borders of Ukraine.
Citizens of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Sudan, France, Mongolia and other countries study at the Institute.
