The first experience of the program on training of operators of unmanned aerial vehicles
The Educational and Scientific Institute of Continuing Education (NNINO) has started a course training program “Training of unmanned aerial vehicle operators”, which will last from July 17, 2020 to August 20, 2020. 10 people, members of the Anti-Terrorist Operation, who were interested in working with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), were invited and enrolled in the training.
Each of the listeners has a life story. All these people after their release from military service in the East of Ukraine faced certain difficulties and not always with understanding in the society, such as problems with socialization, employment, public rejection. The management of NNINO paid special attention to the problems of former ATO participants, they were offered a course training program “Training of unmanned aerial vehicle operators”, which is now relevant, in demand, modern and promising.
UAVs are now used not only in military affairs, but also to solve a wide range of tasks, the performance of which by manned aircraft for various reasons is impractical. Such tasks are:
- monitoring of airspace, land and water surfaces;
- environmental control;
- air traffic control;
- maritime shipping control;
- development of communication systems;
- field logistics (transfer of spare parts, batteries, ammunition, medicines, etc.);
- art photography.
Currently, students are taking a theoretical course of lectures, and later they will have an interesting and exciting practice in UAV control.
