Advanced training courses for Lviv airport specialists
In the period from 01 to 10 December 2021 on the basis of SE “Lviv International Airport” them. D. Halytsky ”Educational and Scientific Institute of Continuing Education of NAU organized and conducted advanced training courses in two areas
- Global Runway Surface Reporting Format (GRF);
- “Technical operation of aerodromes”.
As you know, from November 4, 2021, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has introduced a new format for the status of the runway (GRF). This year, NN INO has already conducted training on such a program for 7 groups in Ukraine and 2 groups in Georgia. The peculiarity of studying in Lviv was that for the first time the students already had, albeit short-term, experience in new conditions. Analysis of this experience and information from new documents of ICAO and the State Aviation Service of Ukraine have significantly contributed to achieving a higher level of understanding of the new rules and their effective implementation.
The training program “Technical operation of aerodromes” provides training of aviation personnel in modern methods of technical operation, taking into account new documents of ICAO, EASA and the State Aviation Service of Ukraine. A representative of Ivano-Frankivsk Airport also joined the students from Lviv Airport.
In the feedback, the students praised the content and importance of the training.
