Students visited the NAU Aviation Museum as part of the “University is our home” event

On October 4, 2023, teacher Olga Karandyuk conducted an excursion to the Aviation Museum of the National Aviation University for the masters of the “Project Management” OPP and the “Administrative Management” OPP as part of the “University is our home” event. The history of the university’s development from its origins to the present is presented, as well as the facts, achievements, and contributions of its outstanding personalities.

In the museum hall with an area of 350 square meters, tour participants could familiarize themselves with the exhibits on 28 stands, which inform about the activities of the Kyiv Aviation Society, the work of the first Kyiv aircraft designers, the record flights of Igor Sikorsky, the opening of regular air traffic on the route Kharkiv – Kyiv, the creation of the first passenger plane K -1 and other events of the socio-economic life of Kyiv, which became the basis for the opening of an institution of higher education of the aviation profile.
