The Center for Expertise and Certification of Educational and Scientific Programs reports on advanced training courses

Since the beginning of May, the Center for Expertise and Certification of NNINO has been successfully continuing training in advanced training courses in the field of “Practical Psychology”. The form of education is distance learning.
The training of the next group was carried out from June to July 2022 under the program “Methods of working with mental trauma. First psychological aid and medico-psychological rehabilitation of persons who have experienced mental trauma”, on August 1, the training “Relieving acute stress” was held as part of the program.

During this difficult time, students from most regions of Ukraine (Kyiv, Buchi, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Kryvyi Rih, Lviv) and students from near and far abroad who have the status of temporarily displaced persons (Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands) joined the classes.

Like previous programs, this program is made up of purely practical content.
The purpose of the courses is to acquire the necessary skills and abilities to provide psychological first aid. The listeners received clear information about the step-by-step assistance to victims during the war, learned to clearly define the goals, purpose and actions during each step. The program of the new training “Relieving acute stress” was a logical continuation of the knowledge gained at the courses. The main task of the training is to help with acute stress, recommendations for managing and overcoming acute stress, mastering techniques that minimize vulnerability to the negative effects of stress, and mastering methods of controlled psychophysiological self-regulation.
