Develops and implements procedures for assessing and recognizing learning outcomes, awarding and/or confirming professional qualifications (hereinafter referred to as assessment procedures), which allow assessing learning outcomes acquired through formal, non-formal and informal education, prevent dishonesty, unfounded or erroneous decisions during assessment, ensure impartiality towards applicants, comply with the policy of equal opportunities and do not contain privileges or restrictions based on race, skin color, political, religious and other beliefs, gender, ethnic or social origin, property status, place of residence, or other characteristics.

Ensures the publication of information on the conditions and procedures for assessment, on professional standards and requirements for assessing learning outcomes, and on the procedure for recognizing professional qualifications obtained in other countries.

Develops assessment materials necessary for conducting assessment procedures.

Provides the necessary conditions for organizing and conducting assessment procedures, in particular, the availability of the necessary material and technical resources to conduct assessments in accordance with the requirements of professional standards and labor protection legislation.

Ensures the appropriate number and qualifications of appraisers.

Provides protection of information about control and assessment materials, personal data of applicants for professional qualifications and assessors from unauthorized access.

Conducts assessment procedures for applicants for professional qualifications.

Following the results of the assessment procedure, a document is issued confirming the fact of assignment/confirmation of the relevant professional qualification and allowing the person to perform a certain type of work or engage in professional activity.

Provides the right to appeal the results of assessment procedures.

Recognizes professional qualifications obtained in other countries and issues documents confirming the recognition of such qualifications.

Submits information on awarded/confirmed professional qualifications to the National Qualifications Agency for inclusion in the Qualifications Register.

Provides information and advice on assessment procedures and the procedure for recognizing professional qualifications obtained in other countries.
