Training of specialists in the management of unmanned aircraft systems

Recruitment for new training courses for special purpose UAV operators/instructors has been opened at NAU.

The educational and scientific institute of continuing education of NAU continues permanent recruitment for educational courses:

For operators without training:

  1. “Specialist unmanned aerial vehicle management – Multicopter”.
  2. “Specialist in control of unmanned aircraft of special purpose – Aircraft type”.

For operators with training:

  1. “Lecturer (instructor) on theoretical training of operators of unmanned special purpose aircraft”.
  2. “Special purpose unmanned aircraft operator” – certification/confirmation/deepening of previously acquired knowledge and skills

The course program is represented by the following blocks:

  • Aviation legislation, flight rules
  • Computer-mechanical training tools
  • Construction of the BPS complex (KBPS), power equipment and systems
  • Meteorology
  • Methodology of instructor activity during the training of aviation personnel
  • Navigation, theory of flight, flight procedures
  • Training flights
  • Fundamentals of the theory of automatic control and tracking systems of UAVs
  • Flight mission planning and flight data analysis using the Mission Planner software complex
  • Radio signals and radio communication with UAVs. Distribution of bands by BPAK radio lines according to their purpose, Antennas of BPAK radio channels

Taught by specialists of the Aeronautical Systems Department of NAU.
