The Educational and Scientific Institute of Continuing Education (ESICE) at the National Aviation University is the basis for implementing the concept of continuing education, aimed at realizing the right of every person to study for life, taking into account the personal needs, priority and social development, and the needs of the state economy.

The implementation of the concept of continuing education will provide:

  • Domestic economy qualifiers

  • Competitiveness in the labor market

  • Compliance of labor markets and education

  • Satisfaction of the highest individual-self-realization needs

  • Decrease of unemployment and social tension in society, and hence – national security of Ukraine

The Institute (ESICE) activity aims are to respond promptly to the challenges of society, introducing new approaches to the organization of content, forms and methods of continuing education and to cover all components of adult education: formal and informal education.

The main activities of the Institute are aimed at:

  • Ensuring the continuity of training of specialists in various sectors of the economy, in particular, the aviation and transport spheres of workers, state authorities, heads of enterprises, institutions and organizations, both state and private property

  • Innovative upgrade in providing educational services

  • Modernization of the content of postgraduate education by modern innovation programs

  • Introduction of new forms of organization of students learning activities and effective educational techniques

The Institute`s objective are the following:

  • training of specialists of the Bachelor Educational Degree, Master of Science, providing the opportunity to receive the second (higher) education, advanced training, course training, specialization, internship of specialists of various branches of economy, employees of state authorities, heads of enterprises, institutions and organizations through full-time, part-time forms of training and part-time with the elements of distance learning

  • Participation in the provision of methodological, informational, and advisory assistance to regional training centers for transport workers, educational institutions, institutions and organizations that train in the system of postgraduate education

  • Providing scientific researches, the results of which should be used to ensure the continuity and individualization of training, its relevance and practical orientation, the introduction of innovative technologies for the implementation of education programs for adults.

The Department of Management Techniques

The department prepares masters on following programs: «Administrative Management», «Project Management»

The Department of Public Management and Administration

The graduation department prepares Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in accordance with the 281 specialty requirements “Public management and administration” for distance-learning and full time courses.

Master students have the opportunity to choose the following educational and professional programs:

  • Economic analysis and forecasting in public administration

  • Public self-government, regional development and self-government

The Department of Professional Education Management

The department’s aim is to train highly qualified specialists for public administration in the field of education, able to develop, analyze and implement state policy, effectively perform administrative functions, promote innovative processes in education for purpose of sustainable development of citizens, state and society on the basis of world and European standards.

CENTERS

Scientific and Consulting Center of Advanced Training

Director – Oksana Zosymenko

The Center offers educational services in the following areas:

  • Course training, retraining and advanced training in aviation programs and customer – partners` programs in various branches of economy

  • Advanced training of state officials and heads of state enterprises, institutions and organizations

  • Certification of specialists of different levels in accordance with the National Qualifications Framework.

  • Advanced training of trainees initiated by the State Employment Service

  • Course preparation and advanced training for ATO participants and people with disabilities

Educational and Consultative Center for Integrated Security and Protection of Critical Infrastructure

Director – Oleksandr Mykhailiuk

The main aim of the center’s activities is to provide modern theoretical knowledge and practical skills in critical infrastructure protection and integrated security management through the creation of training programs, training courses and advanced training.

 

Center of Expertise and Certification of Educational and Scientific Programs

Director – Nataliia Malinovska

The Center conducts an independent examination of innovative educational and scientific programs in the system of professional development of NAU with the purpose of their introduction in the educational process and further certification

 

Training Center

“Management of Preparation Before Technical Maintenance”

In accordance with the requirements of the State Aviation Service of Ukraine, the Center carries out basic training of aviation personnel by categories:

  • A1 – maintenance engineer for gas turbine aircraft

  • B1.1 – technical engineer for maintenance of gas turbine aircraft

  • B2 – technical avionic engineer for maintenance
